About Lin San Temple

Lin San Temple traces its roots back to an older Buddhist temple established by Venerable Ruixiang, a monk from Guangdong, China. The temple later came under the guidance of Venerable Seang Heng, who played an important role in expanding the temple's Buddhist activities and charitable outreach over the years.

Following structural issues affecting the old temple building, the original premises were eventually demolished and rebuilt into the modern facility seen today. The current temple was redeveloped with support from Nirvana Memorial Garden Singapore, helping fulfil the late Venerable Seang Heng's vision of rebuilding the temple for future generations.
